A few words of advice before you buy your ticket

For the Cathedral
Admission to the Cathedral is with free pass. If you buy any ticket you get a free pass to visit the Cathedral, not subjected to a fixed time. The fixed time free passes for visiting just the Cathedral are limited in number and available exclusively from the ticket offices on the site. Free admission without ticket only for disabled visitors with their helper and for visitors under the age of 11 if accompanied by an adult. Valid ID or proof of entitlement required (Italian or English).
The Cathedral is a place of worship and prayer. Visitors are asked to dress and behave appropriately, respecting both the place and people. Shawls made thanks to an environmental sustainability and job placement project are on sale in the bookshops inside the two museums. Explanations to groups of 6 or more visitors can be made only with radioguides, out of respect for the silence required by the sacred place. During masses and special ceremonies: visitors have access to a limited area, cameras can not be used, guides and escorts can not give explanations.

For the Tower
Reduced-price tickets are not available.
Admission is free only for disabled visitors with their adult helper, upon presentation of suitable certification (Italian or English) to the cashier. On the site only. Due to the fixed quota and considerable influx of visitors, availability is limited to the time slots before 10:00 and after 18:00 (if the closing is 20:00), 17:00 (if the closing is 19:00), 16:00 (if the closing is 18:00). Please contact us by email accessibility(at)opapisa.it at least 5 days in advance and modalities to carry out the free visit will be communicated.
For safety reasons, children who will not have turned 8 by the end of this year are not permitted to enter. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. ID may be requested to certify the age.
The ticket is valid on the day and at the time specified. Please check the time of your visit, if you are late you will not be allowed in and you will not be refunded. Hand bags/bags/luggage must be left at the cloakroom before the visit and picked up at the end of the visit.
The visit takes about 30 minutes. The climb is on foot and there are 251 steps.
The staff will welcome the visitors with a brief description of the history of the Tower.

The floor is uneven and slippery.

For the Baptistery, Camposanto, Sinopie Museum, Opera del Duomo Museum, (Temporary exhibition)
The ticket is valid from the chosen date (not before) for 1 year, if open and during the opening time.
Free admission without ticket only for disabled visitors with their helper and for visitors under the age of 11 if accompanied by an adult. Valid ID or proof of entitlement required (Italian or English).
Reduced-price tickets are available only for school groups of a minimum of 10 students if accompanied by an adult, upon presentation of a list of attendees (Italian or English) on headed notepaper from the school. Please contact the cashier for details. Tickets for school groups can also be purchased online through the Area reserved for Agencies and Schools

Audioguide for visits to the Opera del Duomo Museum.
Tickets can be purchased online, at the on-site ticket offices or at the Museum. The sanitised device with disposable earphone can be collected at the entrance of the museum by handing over the ticket and document. The service is only available during the opening hours of the museum. 90 minutes of audio, 55 listening points, 5 languages available (Italian, English, French, German and Spanish). 26 rooms to discover sculptures, sacred vestments, inlays, liturgical furnishings and other authentic works from the Piazza del Duomo.Collect it at the entrance of the museum. You will need to show your ticket and your ID/Passport. A user-friendly, innovative device for your visit to the Opera del Duomo Museum. You can customise the itinerary. For your safety
The Opera della Primaziale Pisana is strictly applying the security measures decided by the Italian authorities to ensure the safety of our visitors.
Large luggages and suitcases are not allowed. Only small bags or backpacks will be accepted, with a max size of 20x30x38 cm and no weight restriction.
For those who are visiting the Tower: Hand bags/bags/luggage must be left at the cloakroom before the visit and picked up at the end of the visit. Visitors are subject to the screening of a hand-held metal detector at the entrance. The device will not affect the operation of pacemakers and defibrillators.
You cannot enter the monuments of Piazza del Duomo with animals (of any size and in any way), unless it is a certificated guide dog, which is accompanying persons with disabilities.

PURCHASE CONDITIONS
The tickets can be purchased online starting from 90 days (GMT) prior to the date of the visit until the day of the visit (GMT), subject to availability. Payment may be made only by debit/credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD) and the euro is the only currency accepted. Credit card details are transmitted securely via the AXERVE payment circuit. You will receive a confirmation email with your e-ticket as PDF attachment. If you will not please check your Junk e-mail folder or contact us. Customers who have AT&T account do not receive our e-mails, please use a secondary address.
Remember to check the time to visit the Tower. If you are late for any reason you will not be allowed in and you will not be refunded. Unused tickets are not refundable. The Opera della Primaziale Pisana is responsible solely for the price of the tickets published on its official site. In order to make the purchase, it is necessary to be at least 18 years of age. 

CHANGE AND CANCELLATION POLICY
The time of the visit to the Tower, but not the date, can be modified or the entire order can be cancelled.
If the order includes tickets to visit the Tower, it can be modified/cancelled up to 2 hours before the chosen time.
If the order does not include tickets to visit the Tower, it can be canceled until 24:00 (GMT) of the date of the visit.
An order containing used tickets cannot be modified/cancelled.

The refund will be made with the payment method used at the time of purchase.
The timing of the release depends on the policy of your bank or credit card issuer.

Thank you for your contribution. The money raised from the purchase of tickets allows us to pass on to future generations the legacy that we in turn have inherited. All revenues will go towards the preservation, protection and maintenance of the Piazza del Duomo.
